16 Employees of PT Timah (Persero) Tbk Enroll at Polman Negeri Babel for Training on the Control and Maintenance of Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems
Lecturers and technical laboratory staff (PLP) from Polman Negeri Babel provide guidance to employees of PT Timah (Persero) Tbk during hands-on practice sessions designed to enhance their skills in mastering pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Lecturers from the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) conducted training for employees of PT Timah (Persero) Tbk on the control and maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic systems at the Electronics Laboratory on Friday (October 30, 2026).
The training was attended by 16 employees from PT Timah (Persero) Tbk. It was led by Polman Babel lecturer Indra Dwisaputra, M.T., who was assisted by educational laboratory technicians (PLP) Nofriyani, M.Tr.T., and Ahmad Fariz Khoiri, S.S.T.
In an interview, Indra Dwisaputra, M.T., described the training as an enjoyable experience, noting that it provided an opportunity to share knowledge and exchange insights with PT Timah employees who already possess years of field experience.
According to him, the participants demonstrated a strong foundational skill set. The training served to reinforce their existing abilities while broadening their expertise, enabling them to advance to higher-level applications involving electrical systems and programming.
" By refining skills and reviewing knowledge that may not have been fully grasped—as well as exploring new material—participants are able to better understand and master the subject matter," he stated.
Furthermore, Indra hopes to open up broader opportunities for collaboration between Polman Babel and PT Timah (Persero) Tbk, particularly through the organization of training programs covering other areas of expertise," he concluded.
Meanwhile, one of the training participants, Ninis, noted that the material provided was highly relevant to the requirements of her job. She found the training beneficial, as it helped her refresh knowledge and skills that she had begun to forget," she added.
Although the training lasted only two days, Ninis felt that she gained a significant amount of knowledge and skills. She expressed her gratitude to the Polman Babel lecturers for delivering the material and guiding the participants throughout the program," she remarked.
