Celebrating Indonesia's 81st Anniversary, the Dharma Wanita of the Bangka Belitung State Polytechnic Hosts Competitions and Dons Matching Red-and-White Outfits.
The festive spirit of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence was shared by the extended family of the Dharma Wanita organization at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel), as they held various competitions at the Polman Babel Hall on Friday (August 21, 2026).
A variety of contests were organized for the Dharma Wanita members, who wore red-and-white themed outfits to participate in events designed to test teamwork and creativity, such as balloon relays, flour passing relays, and word-guessing games.

When contacted on Monday (August 24, 2026), the Chairperson of Dharma Wanita Polman Babel, Yang Fitri Arriyani, M.T., noted the palpable excitement as participants cheered on their teammates. "The goal wasn't merely to find winners, but to strengthen bonds among Dharma Wanita members in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere," she said.
Yang Fitri added that Dharma Wanita's activities should not be limited to merely upholding the organization's name; rather, they must be realized through active and beneficial programs, particularly in the social sector.
"Furthermore, what really stood out was that prizes were awarded immediately to the winning teams; since the competitions were team-based rather than individual, most participants had the chance to become winners," she added.

She continued by noting that the participants remained cheerful throughout the event, and the presence of the Dharma Wanita members added a sense of warmth and camaraderie to the atmosphere.
Even though only simple snacks were provided, the high turnout of members made the occasion all the more enjoyable," she concluded.
Looking ahead, Fitri hopes that the Polman Babel Dharma Wanita will continue to thrive and maintain strong unity among its members, as mutual support is considered vital for fostering closer bonds within the extended Polman Babel family.
