Outstanding Students from Polman Negeri Babel Receive Batch 1 Scholarships from IAPT-Babel
The Director of Polman Negeri Babel with the IAPT-Babel management and scholarship recipients after the handover of educational assistance to outstanding students in the campus presentation room.
The State Manufacturing Polytechnic of Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) announced the official awarding of scholarships to outstanding students by the Polman Timah-Polman Babel Alumni Association (IAPT-Babel). The event took place in the campus presentation room on Friday, May 8, 2026.
The event was filled with a sense of camaraderie, as the scholarship recipients were visibly happy and moved when their names were announced to the lecturers and alumni in attendance. This program has received high praise from the Polman Babel academic community.
The scholarship recipients, Steven Leonardo, Bambang Yudi Yansyah, Ilham Faqih, Khemal Fasyah Ishaq, Tazkia Aulia Rahmi, and Hafiz Resdana, were selected after a selection process based on academic achievement, deeming them worthy of receiving educational assistance.
The Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, expressed his gratitude to IAPT-Babel for their dedication in providing scholarships. "This scholarship assistance is very beneficial in supporting students' enthusiasm for learning and encouraging them to continue achieving," he explained.
He stated that the good deeds alumni have shown to students will become a continuing charity, supporting the education of deserving and high-achieving students.
"Certainly, the rewards and benefits will continue to be felt in the future," he added.
Furthermore, I Made also stated that the program implemented by IAPT-Babel is a positive step worthy of emulation. The sense of care, empathy, and sympathy from fellow alumni for the campus is a major force in advancing education at Polman Babel," he concluded.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Ihsan.,M.B.A, Chairman of the Polman Timah – Polman Babel Alumni Association (IAPT-Babel), expressed his hope that the scholarship program would encourage students to continue studying harder and maintain their academic achievements.
Ihsan explained the Batch 1 scholarship program, the inaugural program run by IAPT-Babel. "Going forward, we plan to introduce various other programs that can help students and support the development of the Polman Babel campus," he explained.
Meanwhile, when contacted on Saturday (May 9, 2026), Pristiansyah, M.Eng., the Daily Chair of IAPT-Babel and Polman Babel lecturer, expressed his gratitude for the program's success and expressed his hope that this scholarship assistance will be a significant motivation for students to be more active in achieving academic and non-academic achievements.
Beyond focusing solely on the scholarship program, IAPT-Babel has planned a major event for 2027, where all Polman Babel alumni will hold a grand reunion commemorating three decades of their existence, as a means of strengthening ties and strengthening alumni contributions to the advancement of the campus and its students," he emphasized.
